Orders, downloads and support

We use the contact, billing and transaction information supplied at checkout to process orders, deliver purchased files, manage refunds, prevent fraud and keep business records. The information is needed to fulfil a purchase; if you do not provide the required checkout details, we cannot complete it. Shopify stores customer and order records and provides the storefront and checkout. Shopify Digital Products provides download delivery. PayPal processes PayPal payments under its own privacy terms. We do not need your PayPal password or full payment-card details for customer support.

Support emails are handled through our Google Workspace email account. Information you type into a downloaded PDF is not automatically sent to us. Please do not send completed worksheets containing guest or supplier details when asking for help; a description or redacted screenshot is usually enough.

Free resources and marketing

The free responsibility worksheet can be downloaded without joining our email list. If you separately choose to subscribe, Shopify stores your email address, subscription status and signup tags so that we can send relevant tips and product information through Shopify Messaging. Signing up is optional. Buying a product does not automatically opt you into marketing.

You can withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting hello@vowandready.com. This does not stop necessary order, download, refund or support messages. We may retain a record of your opt-out to respect your choice.

Service providers, retention and your rights

Our service providers may process information outside South Africa. The Privacy policy describes Shopify processing and international transfers. We keep information for the purposes for which it was collected, including required business records, resolving disputes and respecting marketing preferences, and remove or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to legal obligations.

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where applicable, or object to processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za/complaints/, POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za, telephone +27 10 023 5200. Customers elsewhere may contact their local data protection authority.
